A NFR – National Finals Rodeo, que é a final mundial da PRCA – Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, acontecerá de 4 a 13 de dezembro.
Entre tantos fatores que cercam a mágica desse evento, está o anúncio dos Back Numbers, a numeração que os competidores usam nas costas.
A numeração é definida pela quantidade de dólares que o competidor ganhou no ano. Todas as modalidades são consideradas juntas para esse ranking — ou seja, quem mais faturou é o número 01, que, neste caso, é Stetson Wright, competidor que monta em Touro e Sela Americana.
Temos também o representante brasileiro, Júnior Nogueira, que será o número 20 — ou seja, entre todas as modalidades, ele foi o vigésimo que mais faturou.
Ao todo, são 120 competidores, porém, como Stetson Wright e Wacey Schalla competem em duas modalidades, o total efetivo é de 118 competidores.
